• Not quite everything. She noticed the sudden change in the pool when her last words to Sap echoed loudly through the cavern. Still on her hands and knees she scrambled toward the edge of the water. • Haaden was hesitant about going in the pool again but it was her fault that Halden was in this mess in the first place. She didn't know how long her strength would last but regardless she dived in after Sap. • Sap's pack jerked his shoulders as he hit the water. He had meant to leave the pack back on the shore. He swam deep, deep, deep, digging with his arms. He looked around for Halden, and saw Haaden enter the water. He wished she had not. He did not want her in danger again. He did not think she had the strength for it after what had just happened. • Haaden knew she didn't have a lot of strength after what had just happened but she would do what she could and then go back up on shore and hope for the best. She couldn't be useful up there. • Finally Haaden ran out of breath. She started for the surface again. Once her head broke the surface she took a deep breath and headed down again. This time something caught her eye, something she hadn't seen before. Near the bottom of the pool but slightly to her right there was a small cave. The light they had seen earlier seemed to be coming from that cave. Haaden looked around for Sap she wanted him to follow her or at least know where she had gone. • He looked around frantically, the water pressure hurting his ears. He looked to see where Haaden was first, still worried about her and saw her looking to the right. Following her gaze, he saw the cave. Then realizing she had started back to the surface. He hesitated for moment between going directly to the cave, or returnin to the surface to make a plan with Haaden. Finally, he swam quickly to the surface. He had been running out of breath anyway.   • Sap took a long breath and then headed down to the cave, Haaden a few yards in front of him. Sap swam through the tunnel, his bag snagging on rocky protrusions. He found his way to the air tunnel and grabbed a breath, then made his way through to the large cavern. As he pulled himself out of the water, he discovered Haaden stretched out on the sand and also several rips in his bag, over which he lamented. It was such a good bag. He went to join Haaden.
