I have seen children at toddler age tied to chairs to stop them running around in meetings - but only by really radical people !! As children are from the dark side they must not be allowed to cause DISTRACTIONS - a sign of the devil aaarrrgh

I can remember when I first joined the JA someone who is now a senior leader complaining because social services had been in touch with him over someone they had staying, as this man had been convicted for belting his children. The JA person (then a household leader) was pissed off they had poked their noses in. In his eyes they were all "middle class" and did not understand how the poor lived and disciplined their children!

It comes down to immaturity of people who should never be leaders, but is sooo dangerous.
