It is that luke-warmness which compells you to speak for the JA, so I understand. The irony is, that while you feel you should speak up for the JA, community members who are really living the covenant, don't feel they have to explain themselves.

The other irony is that while you feel you must speak for the JA, the JA themselves would far rather you didn't. Community members can be controlled; they understand the expectations and know what would be appropriate. They know from bitter experience that keeping quiet is the best strategy, while non-community members with their feet in "the world" haven't grasped this.....and feel too guilty about their own lack of commitment to stay quiet.
