Subject: Sigh .........

Having spent a bit of free time reading through the last couple of pages of threads I'm a bit saddened.

This place used to be good for constructive debate but has got more sensationalist as the days and weeks have gone past. It's been a whilse since I've seen anything fresh and, were I a first time visitor, I'd be leaving thinking "nutters".

Some of what has been said on here in relation to abuse and alike needs to be substantiated with evidence and, were it so, I don't think anyone would be more supportive of outing it than I. Personally speaking however, I don't think a public forum is the place and have made my feelings known to Mike. I won't be commenting any further on that [or similar] thread.

Then there are the pages of secret family courts and spiritual abuse. Sigh, is there anything new to be said on that? I think Barbara should just get a blog and type posts into it for a couple of hours a day. I'm not sure how these courts are relevant to this forum. Perceived spiritual abuse perhaps is a topic for meaningful discussion.

As folks know, I still have a loose involvement with the JA. I go to the odd meeting rarely and still catch up with friends who are in/out with whom I have been friends for the best part of 20 years. I have said many times, on balance, my time in the JA was a benefit to me. I didnt agree with all that happened there and perhaps wasn't so downtrodden because I was more strong willed and vocal than others were.

I'm not going to post any more until things actually start making sense on here again. I'll lurk and chuckle no doubt but will resist that urge to reply until something makes me really want to.

Good luck on decending into further lunacy and chaos :) Now, off to feed that cricket to my new Tarantula!
