Well, I hope that he did make it to heaven.

He was a flawed man, but are any of us perfect?

God sees the whole of a person's life, and we don't.

I notice he was in the Navy. A lot of men were abused in the Navy - I've been reading Lord Mountbattens account of the Navy and it sounds dreadful what was going on in Noel's time, there were a lot of really wierd people doing really wierd things. He might have been abused or something, you never know. A lot of them were, you know.

Anyway, I hope he did make it to heaven.
