Ei todellakaan tule reunaan - et selvästi käsitä universumin olemusta. Jos se on äärellinen (kuten kai useimmat tähtitieteilijät kuitenkin uskovat) se on äärellinen samalla tavoin kuin maapallo. Jos etenet tilassa tarpeeksi pitkään ennemmin tai myöhemmin palaat lähtöpisteeseesi. Siitähän siinä universumin "kaareutumisessa" (Einsteinin teoria etc.) on juuri kyse.

Entä sitten? Me puhuimme fyysisesti olemassaolevista kokonaisuuksista. Matikassa on muitakin käsitteitä joille ei ole vastineita ns. todellisuudessa.
