Wanna share my personal experience:
Back in 2000, I maintained relationship with 2 girl-friends, my long-term partner was living with me and still does... while the other who is 8 years younger than me - I can flirt during office hour. It lasted for 9 months until she moved out of this relationship. She lives in my everyday's heart during this 3.5 years but I paid the price of my career and is suffering from the symptoms of early-psychosis (c-kwok-sux-til).
Worth it or not to live in multiple relationships? ...Your call.
