Subject: Have a question about my chinchilla

Hello,
my name is Katana and I currently own my very first chinchilla, a black velvet named Vash the Stampede. I bought him from an exotic pet store in Reno Nv. When I first bought him he was very aggressive, and though he still has his mean streaks now and then, he has calmed down greatly since then.
But anyway, I noticed as of recent that his ears have begun to feel thinner than usual. At first it was only his right ear, but now his left ear is starting to feel thin as well.
I was wondering if there is something I could do about this. If somebody could respond, I will greatly appreciate it. Thankyou!
