Thank you so much, Barbara!
I, too, am interested in finding out how many owners keep two male chins together, successfully!
I have a male Chinchilla, albeit, he is upwards of ten + years of age, but the true test of how well a Chinchilla can get along with other Chins is to be in the same cage with my Chuckie... he is so AWESOME! He gets along with ALL the other Chinchillas, it seems, unless, of course, they just don't like other Chins, so it would seem...
He coddles the newly weaned Chinchillas I have, makes a great "babysitter", and I always end up putting newly weaned babies with him, as he seems to take such good care of them... he is truly an exceptional Chinchilla...
I, too, would be interested in hearing about others experiences in this particular line of thinking, since we have all been told not to put two Chinchillas together of the same sex... Could this be incorrect, or, at best, inaccurate information?
Cheers to new ways of thinking for the very dear pet Chinchilla!
:-)
