Subject: dangers of kriya yoga

I just saw this thread on Kriya. The Ramakrishna Order doesn't teach kriya because it is dangerous. You can ask them about it. I was sitting in a class once where I young man asked about it, and he was told by the swami that it can damage your lungs and that it can cause insanity, so they don't practice it. You may try googling Dangers of Meditation or Kriya and see what you get. Of course everyone has to decide for themselves, and just make sure you have a good teacher.
