Subject: Sri Jnanendra's loving tribute to P. Yoganandaji
In reply to: Aanon - 13 Mar 2004 's message, "Re: A Call To Hendrik" on 09:44:29 04/04/04 Sun

On March 23rd [1952] a bhandara was held in memory of the blessed master Yoganandaji.... Sri Jnanendra Nath Mukherji, revered disciple of the great master Swami Pranabananda ("the saint of two bodies"), presided over the meeting and addressed the assemblage.

"The great soul that is Paramahansaji came on earth with a tremendous mission," Sri Jananendra said. "Yo need not be overwhelmed with grief for his passing away from this world. Freed from limitations of flesh and blood he has entered into Eternity, and his all-pervading spirit will now act more widely through all of you.

"To pay respect to him is to follow his teachings, sincerely to practice Kriya Yoga, and to spread the timeless message of the great gurus of India."

-- from "Paramahansa Yogananda--In Memoriam", published by SRF, p. 87.

PS.: Sri Jananendra Mukherji (Mukhopadyaya) is the first publisher of the "Pranab Gita", now online through Yoganiketan.
