In my opinion What "watcher" is saying is extremely beautiful and extremely profound in my opinion. Really beautiful and shows profound understanding.

Look---

"In the paravastha----advanced stage of yoga there are no waves in the brain, and in the more advanced stage men becomes intoxicated like a drunk without any ambition or any wish----this is the effect of spiritual happiness

.............................Sanyal Mahasay's Gita 2:49

“the form of bliss that is felt between child and parent, such is the form that the jivatman (individual soul) has when in the paramatman and is in the constant experience of the Supreme Person. [But] “Anandam nandanateetam” is where even the Supreme Person is not, meaning the post-Kriya state (“Kriya paravastha”), where even bliss is not.”
Yogiraj ….sloka 8, Teja Bindu Upanishad commentary

Or--

"The quintelemental body, meaning, earth, water, fire, air, ether, Muladhar, Svadhishthan, Manipur, Anahata, Vishuddhakhya, the "A" , the "U", the "M", Nada, Bindu. Touch, meaning experiencing these by vayu - and being in existence and dissolution, beyond these is Kutastha Brahman - where the Ajna Chakra is - when vayu is stilled - boundless - sound stopped - Bindu, Nada, quarter-moon-zodiac-time-all aspects of things, future and the Beyond is known -- it is He about Whom the scriptures such as the Vedas speak. There is a kind of Bliss there [Supreme Bliss] which is called Paramananda, immersing in which there is profound intoxication -- thus, when one does not contact the limited [sense-world etc.], one is without pleasure and pain; when one contacts the limited, one is with pleasure and pain. It is by this contact one experiences; observe this (titikshu = look). Lahiri Baba Gita 2:14

How can such contradiction exist?

Yet both are true!!!! :-)

Who can describe such states?
"It" is everything and is beyond the realm of words. It cannot be described!
It is beyonnd all concepts. IT is beyond the concept of mind and words.

That Bliss or drunkaness or Intioxication is the means to the end. It's home is in Brahman but yet Brahman is beyond it all! How can it be described?

Look--

"one attains the Supreme Bliss of the par avastha of Kriya. The Bliss about which no one has the ability to speak - the reason why It is “avyakta” [unspoken] -- known by oneself -- later cannot make anyone know. ....Lahiri Baba in His Gita 14:1

See---"he Bliss about which no one has the ability to speak - the reason why It is “avyakta” [unspoken] -- known by oneself -- later cannot make anyone know"

See? Gradually one is no longer even capable of all this analyzing. One cannot speak of it. He becomes a silent Muni.

Look-

"like a drunkard, no analyzing of any thing in the world remains in the par avastha of

Kriya."..............Lahiri Mahasay from his Gita 5:18

There is no longer even any ability to do analyze or argue over what is samadhi and this state and that and One stops arguing about what is Samadhi. A drunk doesn't care ---

"like a drunkard, no analyzing of any thing in the world remains in the par avastha of

Kriya."..............Lahiri Mahasay from his Gita 5:18

Look----This drunkaness and intoxication is not the complete end. It's role in Kriya is that it is the means. It is the means used to ascend from Ajna between the eyebrows in Saharshrar. It is the means to get there. Once one is there it can't be described.
One will say this and another will say that!
And so we get all these various statements! Because IT is beyoind words.

How does one get to the End?
In Kriya it is not done by just willing it. It is not done by analyzing like the Jnanis (in Kriya path that is). It is done via Kriya.

That drunkeness is the means to the End.

"what is required is a well concentrated practice of Kriya, by which a sort of drunkan or intoxicated feeling developes, and then the mind is not attracted to outward things."
.............Sri Sanyal Mahasay's Gita from 13:10

See?

In Kriya the Masters talk of two Paravasthas----the Kriya Paravastha (post Kriya state) and then the Paravastha of the Paravastha (state after the post Kriya state).
Those two Paravasthas correspond to the two main levels of Kriya ---In field of Kriya we speak of Sat Chakra Kriya (Pran Kriya) and then practice of Kriya of

"Pravasatha" or "Poise" (the "Sahashrar Kriyas").

Via Sat Chakra Kriya (the Pran Kriyas) one arrives in perfect stillness and concentration at Ajna chakra between the eyebrows. This is called Paravastha--

"Long practices of Kriya leads us to the Ajna Cakra or Kutastha"
"If the disciple practises the Kriya and concentrates on the Ajna Cakra (the point in between the eye-brows) or the Kutastha, he, through the grace of Shriguru, gradually reaches the Paramatma and becomes the Guru himself."
.........Lahiri Mahasay from Kabir Commentary 1 (J.C. BHattacharya. "Kabir In Light of Kriya Yoga". Sole international copyright Shrigurudham. Howrah)
