I was initiated, some years ago, into a kundalini sadhana where we intensely worked with shakti energy, and yes, that practice produced a myriad of sensations in the spine and body, some good, some not so good.

I have never had unpleasant experiences with Kriya.

Anyway, for what its worth... and I am not a Kriya counselor... my opinion is that you should not be trying to move "energy," a pretty nebulous concept anyway. To have a well grounded practice you should strive, without straining, to experience physically the specific soothing qualities associated with inhalation and exhalation, as taught in the Kriya Lessons. We really can't get into further details here on the board. Although you have had your practice checked, it still might help to review the Kriya lessons and make sure you aren't introducing other elements into your practice.

Also, how much physical exercise are you getting? Some folks find regular moderate physical exercise helpful in regulating the body.
