I WOULD CONSIDER THAT A REQUEST TO ABDICATE ONES RELIGION TO BECOME A KRIYA YOGI WOULD BE IN SPIRITUAL CONFLICT WITH THE UNIVERSAL PRINCPLE OF OF ONE GOD, MANY PATHS THAT IS RESPOUSED BY GURU-PARAMAHANSA YOGANANDS.

I WOULD THINK THAT THE PRINCIPLE THAT WERE ALL OF ONE SPIRIT NO MATTER OUR LACK OF RELIGION. FROM ONE INCARNATION TO THE NEXT THE WORTHY JEWEL THAT WE TAKE WITH US IS THE STATE OF OUR CONCIOUSNESS WHICH IS GOD IN EVOLUTION . EVER BECOMING
