There may be people reading this who are considering taking initiation from either Shibendu or Chatterjee. They should be aware that there are significant differences in the way that both of them teach Kriya. If you ask either of them, they will tell you that the other is either not authorised or not competant to teach Kriya.

Several years ago one Dutch lady, an initiate of Shibendu Lahiri, visited Chatterjee and asked him to check the Kriya she learned from Shibendu. Chatterjee claimed that the Kriya was inaccurate. The same lady later went on to investigate matters further and came away with the belief that Chatterjee was never authorised to give initiation on his own behalf, and was teaching Kriya incorrectly. I believe that she later turned to Shailendra Sharma, another disciple of Satya Charan Lahiri.

Which of these is the closest to the teachings of Satya Charan Lahiri I cannot tell, except to point out Shibendu's possession of Satya Charan's notebook detailing the Kriya's.

I believe that the writer of that kriyainfo website presented a very biased picture based mainly on what he had heard from Chatterjee.
