1)合併一定會大裁員，重疊的科系一定層床疊屋...
2) 又不是私立大學的合併 (好似外國那種)... 公立大學的合併豈會將資源"倍增"？ 你聽過公營機構合併是因為想"倍增"其開支這個理由嗎？
3) 講真，管理一個較小型的機構，一定容易過管大機構。除非是希望達到商業式的壟斷，否則一個恐龍式的機構一定麻煩多多。何況，這是兩間性質、學統都不同的大學啊。

得閒看看我那篇"香港教育史", 哈哈。
