something Joss is a master at.

>>The suspense involved in dealing with the governemnt mole and trying to get money for the stolen goods and getting away from the Reavers (sp?) kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. The slower scenes, such as the ones between Book and Inara, were a welcome rest from the suspense and added depth to the characterizations in a way that non=stop action can't.<<

The el stupidos at the networks think all viewers want is non-stop action, lots of noise and obnoxious music, and car chases. No thanks. A good story has slow spots - otherwise your characters would die of exhaustion! Pacing!! Stupid Fox. Go se!!!
