Subject: Pessimistic much? Why say "adieu" before the "Closed" sign's even hung up?
In reply to: sTalking Goat 's message, "To Firefly...Adieu..." on 10:08:56 10/14/02 Mon

This article is a PREDICTION, not official confirmation. There's also been evidence that FOX is interested in keeping the show on the air. There were like 300 frickin' commercials for the show the other day, introducing every character. Further, viewership increased 30% last week even w/o the crucial NY and LA markets, and Tivo has reported that "Firefly" is one of the top 5 most taped new shows on TV. Yes, it's future may seem tenuous at the moment, but nothing is set in stone yet.

Don't bury the show before it's dead.

Rob
