I can't find any thing more to add.

I did love the way this episode commented symboles and how we people use them. I think the important part is in what Shepherd says that people tranform themselves with faith; and Inara saying that becoming a man it's him to do it. Symboles are only tools, they're precious, valuable, deep only because of the meanings and the faith and ressources we find in them.

I love your comparason between symboles as the show talks about and the show itself.

Okay, as for answering you Question of the week, I'm sorry but I'm not sure I understand the difference between the two.
