White-blonde tresses danced merrily as the gilded matriarch trotted forward, her milky white filly firmly at her side. The arrival of another equine to the hubbub of Dark Evergreens shouldn't have captured the palomino's attention, horses came and went from the terra all the time, but this one was different. The mare seemed familiar, the name resting on the tip of Tori's tongue. Fighting a battle with her fading memory, and losing, the spirited jezebel figured she could play the Light Captive Welcome Wagon for yet another poor soul. The fact that Firelight was present only added incentive. Tori had worked herself into quite the foul temper and Firelight would be the perfect creature to loose her invective upon. Confused by her normally sunny mother's bad mood, Genesis remained silent, a pale shadow drifting alongside the golden mare.

Smoky appendages slowed to a halt, tufted thorns atop both mother and daughter pricking forward. Honeyed vocals issued forth from the dusky lips of the former, sardonic words touched by a falsely warm tone.

"So Firelight, needed another trophy? Not quite enough Lights running around Dark Evergreens? Let's see, you've got Genesis and myself, Annalee, and now this one. Bring it to a grand total of four now."

A vaguely apologetic look crossed the palomino's visage. She remembered seeing the Light mare before, remembered her making the journey to the Healing Ward in the midst of the war in Sun-Kissed Beach, but her name still proved elusive. Truly warm tones rang forth for the benefit of the displaced Light, the pallid flicka at her side still remaining stonily silent.

"Welcome to Hell, my dear. Make yourself comfortable. I'm Tori and this is Genesis."
