Here's some problems that the two paints have: Frosty my stallion is a bit skinny right now cause of the mare that was in with him hogged all the food. He's a Qh/paso fino mix Chyenne ran through the fence (was barbed wire) the 1st day we got her and severed her fore leg muscle on her front right leg. She now has club foot(its getting better) and the other front leg is swollen from calcium build ups in the knee cap. She also got extremely malnutritioned last wint and is cow hocked from it. Vet said legs will straighten out with time, they are already much improved since her legs used to hit each other. She is a QH Lady is a QH/Arab Misty is a QH/Arab/appy Jack is a Welsh Pony/Qh |

I don't understand her behaviour because she is still nice when you stay with her , it's only when you go away from her . I'm sorry if i've made fails it's because i come from Belgium. People commented she was a little overweight in the last pictures. I agree, she only gets hay (mostly oat and some alfalfa) and a little bit of LMF Development. She's in a pasture with two other horses, so I can't really control how much hay she gets. She's what you call an "easy keeper" :) I did have her x-rayed and there is no OCD anywhere though. |

Date Posted: 22:01:54 10/09/03 Thu I saw a 10-12yr gelding at auction .He is has a very typy arab head but tiny ears good straight legs with no noticable flaws.Excellant ground manners-unknown background,breed cross or training.However I noticed high thin withers ,a fairly deep back ---But a thing I've never seen before is his hind end on top (the crop)?He has 2 pointy boney areas that have a slight dimple between them.What is this ?A fault or injury?I'll try to get pics later.A friend got for free and is asking $700 to compensate for vet bills /colic day of sale.Could he be a good pleasure dressage and weekend trail prospect?Otherwise seems healthy.Very Very affectionate.Very attentive eyes.Let me know what you think. |

Date Posted: 21:44:53 09/28/03 Sun Hi, This is a 5yr TB Gelding that I am considering buying. I would appreciate it if you could critique his conformation. Also, if you don't mind, he has an old bowed tendon, I believe it happened in '01 while he was on the track. The current owner says she has had it vet checked and he has always been sound, and he was also given time off when it happened, to heal. What do you think? Should he be able to do normal work or do horses with bows usually have recurrent problems? Thank you so much! ~Jill |

Date Posted: 19:41:10 04/10/03 Thu Hey everybody! I have a couple of OLD pictures of my mare. She was VERY underweight when I bought her. In this pic she had gained about 100lbs already. She's much more muscled in the rear now and filled out a bit but this is the newest photo I have. I figured the basic conformation could still be seen. I do know she has the clubbed foot which the farrier and I are working on and is coming 'round quite nicely now. I was just wondering what everyone thought she was suited for by her conformation. Her breeder used her in the half-arab ring (won futurities in Kentucky and Ohio), and showed her English Country Pleasure in futurity classes (also did well). I'm training her dressage now, but conformationally what is she best for??  Sure wish she'd stand square instead of trying to follow me lol!  I'll definately have to get some new pix up as soon as I find a scanner to use! I just noticed how different even her back is lol! |
