I think Shire Crosses are fantastic. I myself have a full shire as well as two percheron-thoroughbreds. The Shire is the most athletic of the draft horses, so you will end up with a more athletic, refined horse, but with the calm disposition of a Shire. Your colt looks adorable! He is really build upright, which will help him with dressage. He has a cute, typey head, and his legs look nice and straight. What are you planning on doing with him? There is an excellent Shire cross that shows in CT in the htrs and jumpers. His name is Grand Marnier and you can view info about him at http://hometown.aol.com/ScoobiezMom/bluewater.html. Anyway, I think your little guy looks super and you'll have a lot of fun with him. Katherine [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
