I never said I cared. I don't care one way or another. I like the idea of people being able to freely critique horses and thus teach others about conformation - then maybe there wouldn't be so many junk horses being bred.

I don't know if any of you heard the story or not, about the Shire mares and stallions being rescued from Illinois; they were sold to a feedlot w/o papers (and most did not have good conformation) - so what do people do? Buy them and breed them. Great idea (note sarcasm). (I know I'll probably regret mentioning that, but oh well, opening my mouth and getting myself into trouble is nothing new:-).

So, I was just stating that I was surprised it was allowed here since on most boards it is not. That's all.

By the way, I agree with you here. And it's nice to see honest critiques, not just "what a pretty pony" posts. And I personally think that a lot of stallions standing at stud should be geldings. JMO, nothing more, nothing less.
