Thanks. I actually do only about 10 minutes of longeing about 3 days a week. I plan to teach her to ground drive this summer and cut out the longeing completely. i definatly want her to stay sound and I know that these drafty horses are sloooooooow to mature.

Believe it or not, a friend that is pretty horse experienced wanted to know why I was not riding her yet. I explained that I wanted to wait until she was much more mature before I added that stress. Her reply? "Well, she's big enough. You better get on her now before she grows anymore...that's just further to fall!". I just ignored her:)
