I do not know how old this horse is, but, mine was 7 when I purchased him from the track at Fairmount, he has been super. I plan to event him, and as for top line, as we prgress in our training, he getts rounder and he looks superb in the dressage ring. He still has a bit of a dip in front of his withers, but you do not see that when he is floating above the ground, softly on the bit !
You might also talk to the trainer, and get some information on the horse, how has he been running, is he running on any meds, etc. That will also help with you choices. Good luck.
