In the past, she has not really ventured outside of the New Orleans area. The pageants she gave were attented by the same local NO kids. And yes, a lot of them won more than once. But that is because they won at other pageants too and were just good. PLUS, the pageants were small. I mean, if you only have 1 or 2 per group?? Anyway, I called her up and asked a lot of questions about this one. She has invested a LOT of money in it and really wants to see it work. She emailed me a picture of the custom crown. Very nice. She is having special banners designed too. She is having the pageant in Laffayette because she wants it to be more accesible to everyone. Even though a couple of her NO regulars said they wouldn't go that far. She sounds like she really wants to make this nice and we will be there.
