I am not a member of any political party. I have been in contact with my local Liberal party branch and assisted with campaigning at recent elections, however I am not a member. I will likely join officially at some stage, though.

To the best of my knowledge you can be a member without being a member of a local branch. I think the Liberal party has a branch in London, however I doubt they have one in Brazil. You can print out a membership form on the NSW Liberal party website nsw.liberal.org.au I think.
