It also means that if we welcome, for example, Barbados and St. Lucia into the federation, we would have to squeeze in symbols for them too. I want something unifying: something sharp, elegant and reminiscent of familiar flags without actually containing existing symbols. Something in the traditional colours we are all fond of and that would look great on a t-shirt. Something easy enough for children to draw in their schoolbooks without being reduced to mere geometry.
