What a blast!!!! I really needed that trip, I haven't laughed that hard in months. :) I had soooooo much fun this weekend. Sure, we weren't first, but we weren't last either and considering the stupid wind, sideways rain, and cranky cruise passengers, I think we did OK. :) Now let's surprise the heck out of 'em at CostaMona where it's hot and dry. Our kind of conditions. ;)

I was pleasantly surprised by Irish pipers. I think they are on their way to grade II pretty fast if they can hold it together. Their set was a bit dull but prepared and rehearsed, at least on Saturday when I saw them.

Oh, and let's not forget the drum majors. Kevin came away with a new mace and his old mace remained in his hand and in tact which is more than can be said for Jacy, Jason P. and Robert. Showing off on pavement, next to the ocean, in rainy conditions: not a good idea. I've never seen so much havoc wrought by one gust of wind in my life! Maces everywhere! The carnage! :(

The hotel was really nice too, hope we can book that one again next year.

Thanks for a great weekend! :)
Jeannie
