i have a dell inspiron 5000 which is not starting anymore. when powering on, my laptop screen is completely blank and after about 10 seconds i hear a whirring noise (sounds like the floppy drive?) and then 2 quick "beeps". i would like to note that the "Dell" screen when you start the computer is not even showing up, so i cannot even get into the BIOS to check what's wrong. I was able to start my computer properly just once after i had this problem but the graphics on the screen were all distorted with lots of lines and the mouse movement and graphics rendering was really slow and had to shut it down. it has not started again since. Therefore I am assuming this is a graphics card problem, and would like to know if i am right about this. thanks!
