For me, the summer has been way too long. I'm ready for the fall. We had a long wonderful spring and then a wet cool summer. The last week the weather has been wonderful! Cooler and much less humid.

It's been a busy summer, but such a sad one. Losing Paulie has been really hard. I also find that I'm missing the farm as much as I'd hoped I wouldn't. The city has it's conveniences, such as being 2 blocks from Walmart and 3 from the library, but I miss my flock, the space and the privacy.
