Yeah... my mom likes "shallow" dogs. LOL She has another dachshund now, but so far, we haven't had any "decent" snow yet this season for a doxie to tunnel through. I thought we'd get socked with it this winter, but so far, all we've had are "dustings" (well, ok, maybe an inch or two at the most), and it's gone in a day or so. Yesterday it flurried. It was so fine, you could barely see it. It reminded me of dust motes dancing in a shaft of sunlight. Well, winter's not over yet, so we still might get some snow.
