We've had a lot of water here the past couple of weeks too. We're still behind in rainfall, and have been behind for 3 years now, but we're not nearly as behind as you are. The ponds around here are looking better.

This year, we're concentrating mostly on fruit trees and herbs. We're gonna do tomatoes and peppers, but very likely not much more. We've got some retaining walls to build and fill. The plan is build the retaining walls in tiers rather than tall walls. We'll use the tiers as planters. Mostly for veggies, but a few of them will be more ornamental. We'll know more as we move along.

I'm pretty tied down for the next few weeks with Will, so getting a lot done outdoors in the next couple of months likely won't happen. Will had surgery yesterday to break both his legs and reset them to give him a better stance and hopefully keep him walking. He's not allowed to go to school for a couple of weeks and will be in a wheelchair for 6-8 weeks. Hopefully this will be the last of the surgeries for a while. I hope so, I'm not sure my heart can take anymore.
