We have the heat, but, no rain. I spoke with in Mother in Ala. and she said it was terribly hot down there. AND, they are putting water restrictions in place again. That is interesting about the garden center and chickens. I can't see my buddy doing something like that at his garden center. Besides, someone will see them out there and call the APS complaining that they are being mistreated... LOL My garden is almost done for the year. If we could get some decent rain I suppose my bell peppers might get busy, cucumbers are about done for, my summer squash is no more, tomatos are doing ok, and my okra is just hanging on. What we need is a mild tropical storm with lots of rain to come through.... Though I can't complain, it has been a better year drought wise than the last two or three years.
