This is a totally impartial view. Surely the ladies at Loughboro are raising the standard and it is up to the rest of you to match that standard. Those of you with youth set ups should be especially pleased with this because if you play weak teams, you will not develop.

On the other hand, the BUSA structure is there to service the footballing needs of the university bodies and students. Over in Crewe (Crewe and Alsager won the BUSA cup) students play for the local clubs and funnily enough those who have graduated have made so many firm friendships that they have decided to settle in the area. Crewe Vagrants are half home grown talent and half ex and current students. The influence on the younger talent is great and we have a superb atmosphere at our club. Maybe the links with the local community are not as good as they should be.
