I just wish the "powers that be" would JUST BE HONEST! They say one thing at council meetings, go to the Town Talk and change that and then, get on radio with another story? I have a friend in the Police Department and he told me Thursday (last week) that the city is losing five officers to the LSP and if the tax does not pass, five to seven have interviewed for other jobs? Already the Federal Government is threating to withdraw federal funds because the PD has dropped below it's minority hiring status. The PD and FD need the raise! I do not believe it will happen with this tax! I still feel the city will use the money for other reasons and in a few years we will be right back with another tax to cover salary again?

I can't vote yes for this one!
