HYSTERICAL!!!! Ok, you wingnuts, here's your list (again)

1. In Bush's 2003 "State of the Union" address, he listed Iraq among the "Axis of Evil," along with North Korea and Iran. Evil in what way?

2. He also gave detailed "verbal" evidence of an attempt by Saddam Hussein and Iraq to purchase "cake" from an African nation with which he was going to pursue a nuclear bomb. That statement was found to be FALSE.

3. Bush assailed to the masses that night that Iraq was an "imminent threat to American security." In what way? When has Iraq attacked Americans or American soil FIRST? When did ANYBODY uncover a plot to attack the United States?

4. Bush said Iraq had ties to al qaida. There's been no evidence to date that that statement has any merit.

5. In her senate hearing, Condeleeza Rice admitted that mistakes were made in building a case for war.

6. Outgoing Secretary of State Colin Powell went before the U.N. with what HE now calls "inconcise" evidence from faulty intelligence estimates. Evidence, by the way, operatives within the CIA would tell you were "enhanced" once in administrationhands.

What I REALLY love is how the Bush klan and the wingnuts LOVE to point out the human atrocities Saddam has on his resume. Funny thing is, he was up to this bad news when we were an ALLY of Iraq in the early 1980s. Barbara Boxer (you brought her up, I'll use her...) showed a photo on C-SPAN last night with Donald Rumsfeld shaking hands with a contingent of US political and business leaders in 1983 shaking hands with Saddam shortly after Ronald Reagan had him removed from "dangerous nation" status by the State Department. Why? They were willing to overlook the human death toll to give justifiable cause to arming him to defeat Iran.

Ironically, when the Shi'ites win their election in Iraq this Sunday, Iraq will be Iran's new ally-neighbor.

Good job, Mr. President.

There's your list.
