1. The people who voted are in Iraq, half a world away.
2. The Town Talk NEVER misses an opportunity (nor does any media outlet in central Louisiana, for that matter) to heap praise upon those that serve, here and abroad (in EVERY corner of the world) whenever possible.

Now, if we can get Republicans to be as excited about voting rights in our own country. Bobby Jindal orchestrated his little "inked finger" brigade last night at the State of the Union. But he also chastized the Ohio representatives for complaining about a mysterious lack of voting machines in heavily-populated precincts last November. Turns out there were FEWER voting machines in historically democrat-leaning districts than in 2000. If that were done in his district, would he stand up for HIS constituents, as they did?

He should answer that. He didn't hesitate to speak against their doing so.
