Oh my gosh...

Well, then, let's let our kids roam the streets of their own free CHOICE. Let's let our economy come to a grinding halt because so many of our citizens would "choose" not to get an education, if we left the "choice" up to them.

Let's also remember that it's been fought in federal courts, and children to NOT have the same choics and freedoms that adults do, and therefore HAVE to go to school. Most local and state governments have laws that state children (at least under the age of 16) have to attend school.

Doesn't sound as if education is a "choice" then, after all.
