I bet not many "pro-Bush" folks know this, or would have much to say about it... but Americans ought to know that OUR paid-by-our-taxes servicemen and women in Iraq were on the clock being ordered to shuttle Iraqi voters to the polls from their homes and back.

You KIDDING me??? We saw the GOP RAVE about the "turnout" in the Iraqi election, then we find out our troops were the reason they showed up - because THEY were taxiing them?

Heck, for that matter, we hear right-wingers scoff when churches and civic organizations help shut-ins to the polls, here... but I hear no such scoffing from them about this.

What if we asked our troops serving here to go into dangerous neighborhoods to get voters safely to their polling places, here, too?
