To those of you that are new to pageants, please dont let this experience sour you to them.
JM is notorious for having controversy surrounding her. She has an explanation for everything, even if its not the truth. She has been friends with DC for years. DC has been doing pageants long enough even if JM said LB could enter DC should have declined. Its always the quest for the almighty dollar. Had this child not competed someone else would have taken this title. You have not been coming to this board for years watching this director lie and deceive contestants.
Last year at her state she had 50+ contestants, dont you think there has to be something to the fact that less than half came back for her national? And those that did and were eligible to recompete this year chose not to (with a few exceptions). I really hate to see those of you that have only been to a few pageants (of which were JMs) to think this is how systems are run.
This is not the first time JM has screwed over contestants and dont think she wont do it to you. I know you dont want to believe the worst in people, but she really isnt your friend. Someone said below it is a business, and it is. She could care less if you're happy with the outcome as long as your check clears.
This is not an attempt to bash. This is fact. She will tell you what to wear, what photo to enter, who to get coached by, and what H/M person to use.
You should pay close attention to those on here telling their stories about this system. These are not fabricated, made up stories. She will hang you out to dry if you turn against her, dispute her, or question her, DC, or TP in any way.
Some of this is my opinion, some is fact. I'm just tired of hearing about how she has yet again convinced some unsuspecting mom to give her money. This has been going on for years and I know this is quite lengthy, but I'm done.
Done with JM, DC, and TP. There are too many other great systems to sit and dwell on these people and give them that satisfaction. JM thinks if we're on here upset about a title that her system must be one worth attending. BS, its because she lied and cheated, again!
Thank you for letting me go on, I'm sure this will be erased but it is an opinion board, and this is mine.
