We are not pro's in the pageant world, but I'd just like to say this... We entered a regional of JM's. Everything was fair, and everyone was very nice to us. Then I started reading all the stuff on these boards, and even had been told STAY AWAY!!! However, decided to take my chances rather than go on rumors. We attended state. My daughter recieved what she was supposed to for what she won, JM returned e-mails, answered questions too. While we were there, the pros, moms and everyone else were super nice(I was a little embarassed not knowing what to do, and dragging my daughter OFF stage). Am I supposed to go by what people say or what we experience for ourselves? Maybee I'm wrong, but do you believe everything someone tells you? Maybee there are things, I'm not aware of, but until I'm treated unfairly, I am happy with our experiences thus far. Thanks for letting me ramble.

I think everyone needs to make their own decisions. That being said, if you observe something unfair (even if it didn't affect you), I would take that into careful consideration when looking at the big picture so to speak regarding ANY system. I would suggest trying out some other pageant systems. There are many in Illinois for both natural and glitz. HTH (NT)Anonymous08/30/07 11:21am
