Yes I did room with someone at ABP that is planning on competing in my pageant. The room arrangement was made back before I planned on starting my own pageant system. I didn't feel as though it was very nice of me to back out on someone when I had already arranged to share a room so that it was cheaper on both of us. As far as if my system is fair?! Yes, I DON'T PICK MY WINNERS. That's why I have judges. None of my judges are current pm's. I don't personally know any of my judges. I knew that someone who hasn't previously met me would bring up this situation but what do you do. Be bashed for backing out on someone or get bashed for not backing out on someone? It is a lose lose situation no matter how a director behaves. I am trying to run a good fair system that offers an affordable pageant experience with nice prizes. I know in the end my honesty and fairness will just have to be proven and I know it will be. If someone truly has a concern, then e-mail me. We are adults and we can discuss it. The situation is being dealt with and an outcome will be satisfactory to all. Again e-mail me if you have questions. Thanks again. Patty!
