for me i could care less about the soundcard and other goodies they slap in there

for the money #1 sounds great..2 and 3 look like they only offer faster process speed

i don't know how complicated building one is...but if a bare bones 2.66g with 512ram and a shiny new 4600ti 128 mg geforce4 is close in price to #2 i say build one

but what do i know..i have a sony vaio lol
