Few things to know about Dell.

1) Every Wednesday they change there specials so hold out for a good one. A few weeks ago they had a pentium chip upgrade and free ram upgrade along with the $200 off for an 8200. I got the price down for an 8200 series to like $879 with that deal. So see what the next deal will be. They also offer free shipping deals alot if you purchase within a 3-day period when offered.

2) Get the lowest amount of Ram. You can buy ram and install it yourself for alot cheaper then ram upgrades charge ya.

3) Also, depends what kind of warranty you want. The 1-year warranty is the cheapest and covers on-site repair vs the 3-year on-site repair. Both still offer the 3-year phone service which is really all you need. So pick the 1-year warranty. Had my dell 3-years never had anything significant occur besides burning out my modem during a lighting storm.

4) You have monitor and speakers so your not counting those right. Also on the second page of the box choices where it goes through the add-on stuff. Make sure to uncheck the power supply cord which is always checked for another 39$ savings.

Anyway, I'll throw up a cheap system for ya.
