Hi Don; glad to see your question - and interesting timing too.
As our Chapter has grown, this issue has already surfaced. Other members of our (rapidly growing) chapter have the same issue with Sunday. We have a ride committee that is working on Saturday rides for those interested. Since sanctioned rides must have at least one member from the board of directors present (for insurance coverage), we are soliciting interest from new members and board members to make this work; however, it appears destined to happen.
Bill & I also often ride on Friday nights locally to unwind from the stressors of a week of work. Our Friday night rides are in NO WAY affiliated with the Chapter.
If you have any questions, just post them here. Bill, I, or someone will be happy to do the best we can to get you current, accurate, helpful information.
Ride safe.
