My besmirched eyes saw perfectly
Decapitated vision into the void
Catching light on lizard tongue
Til time opened, turned back like pages
Into surrealistic black drop sky
Cloaking Golgotha hilled hell
You, half lotus sat, without tunic
Wearing flawless flesh
I traced veins and tendons
Muscles tensed and untensed
Shoulders of ivory bone pushing back
The sun, set in your belly,
Filling cubicle of night with dark luminescence
Silver slices cutting into writhing insides,
Cauterizing wounds new and old
As true nature unfolded from mortal cocoon
Uncoiled, untied wings of ebony flight
Perfect feathers rustling within their lustrous sheen
Raven's belly hue stretching open, wide
The shadow of mercy.
