Disconnect me from this powerful world,

Please leave me in my ignorant shade.

Turn off the television, stop it's damn noise,
Silence the radios, don't hear it's voice.
Smash the screens in a computational slaughter,
I don't want to be part of this any more.

Scream at me to think like your unapproachable mind,
I'll just go my own way and leave you far behind,
And laugh at your leaders while they laugh at you,
And you'll stay entrapped in this wired up zoo.

I'm cutting the cables so that I can hear silence,
My brain is logging off, parking the violence.
My thoughts are in turmoil, struggling to form,
Phrases and rhymes - mindset to inform,

But where is the boy who looks after the sheep?
