Forever lasted such a short time
although it was so sweet
while it lasted, our eternity
brief that it was but so precious.

Can�t remember when exactly
we decided to bring forward eternity
cut off our life blood, reason d�etre
as if it no longer really mattered.

Can you really forget it all -
Our promises and dreams shared?
Live life as if it never happened.
Erase such precious memories
from the recesses of your mind.

I still love you more than death
but which should I now choose
which would give me peace
and eternal rest, now or then?
