How many of us have taken time
to understand what he felt
all closing in around
everyone needs a piece
the metal tastes like oil
and smells of burnt powder
can't you see it in the words
or hear it in the voice
a permanent solution
to another passing phase
trying to let it all out
so someone might understand
but it's such a empty feeling
a voice of a generation
but no one really hears
all packaged in an image
for sale on the shelves
like jesus, mohammed or buhda
can't look inside ourselves
it will only take a second
oblivion sounds comfortable
let the vultures have what they want
they're sure to make a killing
they always do
